Overview:
Discover Myanmar’s natural and cultural treasures on this full-day tour from Mandalay. Start with Blue Dee Doke Waterfall, a stunning multi-tiered waterfall with turquoise pools, perfect for light trekking, swimming, or relaxing in nature.
Then, cross the Irrawaddy River to Mingun to see the impressive Mingun Bell, the world’s second-largest ringing bell, and you will also be captivated by the purely white Hsinbyume Pagoda (Myatheindan Pagoda), an architectural masterpiece with its unique stepped terraces.

Full Itinerary
In the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel in Mandalay and drive approximately 1.5 hours to Dee Doke Waterfall (also known as the Blue Lagoon). This stunning multi-tiered waterfall is set amid dramatic limestone cliffs and crystal-clear turquoise pools where you can enjoy light trekking along the forest trails to reach the upper pools, swim, relax, and capture beautiful photos in a serene, natural setting.
Afterward, transfer to the jetty for a ferry ride to Mingun, a charming village located 12 km upstream from Mandalay on the west bank of the Irrawaddy River.
We will explore the area’s impressive landmarks, starting with the Mingun Bell, the world’s second-largest functioning bell weighing 90 tons. Then, take a leisurely walk to Mingun Pahtodawgyi, a massive unfinished pagoda intentionally left incomplete in the late 18th century.
Next, we will visit Settawya Pagoda, home to a marble footprint of the Buddha, and the beautiful Hsinbyume Pagoda (Myatheindan Pagoda), a photogenic all-white temple with unique wave-like terraces inspired by Mount Meru.
The tour concludes with a return transfer to Mandalay, where you will be dropped off at your hotel.
