Overview:
Experience the essence of Myanmar, from sacred pagodas to a paradise island. Begin in Yangon, the golden gateway to the country, where culture, history, colonial charm, and spiritual atmosphere blend beautifully. Visit the magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda, admire colonial architecture, and explore the city’s vibrant atmosphere.
Continue to Kyaiktiyo Pagoda (Golden Rock) in Mon State, dramatically perched on the edge of a mountain cliff and one of Myanmar’s most revered pilgrimage sites that offers breathtaking panoramic views, and the unforgettable sight of the golden rock seemingly defying gravity.
Next, journey to Bago, a historic city rich in royal heritage and remarkable Buddhist landmarks. Discover Mon history through ancient pagodas, towering Buddha images, and palace remains.
Conclude the adventure at Nyaung Oo Phee Island, an exclusive yet unspoiled tropical sanctuary. Relax on soft white sands, swim in clear blue waters, and enjoy exceptional snorkeling among vibrant coral reefs, surrounded by serene natural beauty.
Note: When visiting sacred religious sites, please dress modestly. Shoes and socks must be removed before entering pagodas and temples.
Day 1: Yangon Arrival
Activities: Yangon arrival, Hotel check-in, visit Sule Pagoda, old Colonial-style city center, Scott Market, Kandawgyi Lake

Upon arrival, you will be greeted with the warmest smiles from the people of Myanmar and our team, welcoming you to this sacred, magical, and mystical land. After a short break at the hotel and lunch at a local restaurant, the sightseeing begins in Yangon city center.
Stroll to Sule Pagoda, believed to enshrine a strand of the Buddha’s hair and older than Shwedagon Pagoda. Continue through the area to admire Yangon’s colonial architecture, including the City Hall, the grand High Court Building, and the General Post Office, iconic reminders of the city’s rich history.
Next, we will enjoy our time at Maha Bandula Park to soak in the lively local atmosphere and observe residents enjoying their daily routines. Continue to Bogyoke Market (Scott Market), where you can browse high-quality Myanmar gems such as rubies and jadeite, as well as souvenirs, local crafts, clothing, art galleries, and snack vendors.
We will conclude the day at Kandawgyi Lake, a tranquil urban oasis with scenic views, lush gardens, and the iconic floating Karaweik Palace where you enjoy the dinner featuring authentic Burmese cuisine while watching a cultural performance and admiring the sunset over the lake.
After a full day of discovery, return to the hotel to rest and prepare for the next adventure.
Day 2: Yangon - Kyaiktiyo Pagoda (Golden Rock)
Activities: Drive to Kinpun, visit Kyaiktiyo Pagoda (Golden Rock) by truck
Following breakfast, we will embark on a 4-hour journey from Yangon to the town of Kinpun, with a stop for lunch along the way. Upon arrival at Kinpun base camp, we will take a truck up to the winding mountain roads to Kyaiktiyo Pagoda, famed for its delicate balance on the edge of a cliff and revered as Myanmar’s third most important Buddhist pilgrimage site.
At the summit, marvel at the awe-inspiring Golden Rock and observe the devoted Buddhist pilgrims performing their rituals. We will explore the surrounding area, including Kyee Kan Pa Sat and Kyaut Ta Lone Pagoda, or enjoy a light walk along the scenic mountain paths.
The journey to Golden Rock is an adventure in itself, and at sunrise and sunset, the golden stupa glows brilliantly against the sky, offering stunning 360-degree panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and creating one of Myanmar’s most magical and memorable moments.

Day 3: Kyaiktiyo Pagoda (Golden Rock) - Bago – Yangon
Activities: Drive to Bago, sightseeing in Bago City, drive back to Yangon
After breakfast, descend by truck to Kinpun base-camp and continue the journey to Bago (formerly Pegu), the capital of the Mon Kingdom in the 15th century.
In Bago, we will visit the magnificent 55-meter-long reclining Shwethalyaung Buddha, followed by Kyaik Pun Pagoda, home to four seated Buddhas facing in different directions. Continue to Kanbawzathadi Palace, the reconstructed royal palace of the Second Myanmar Empire, where you can grasp deeper insight into the grandeur of Mon architecture and the history of Myanmar’s kings.
The final highlight in Bago is the majestic Shwemawdaw Pagoda, the spiritual heart of the city. Standing at 114 meters, it is the tallest pagoda in Myanmar even higher than Shwe Dagon Pagoda and can be seen from nearly 10 kilometers away. On the return journey to Yangon, we will stop at the Htautkyant World War II Cemetery, a beautifully maintained memorial and the peaceful resting place of more than 27,000 Allied soldiers who lost their lives during the war.
Upon arrival in Yangon, transfer back to the hotel and conclude the day.
Day 4: Yangon - Nyaung Oo Phee Island
Activities: Flight to Kawthaung, transfer to Nyaung Oo Phee Island by speedboat
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before taking a domestic flight to Kawthaung. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel for freshening up and lunch in Kawthaung before proceeding to the jetty to board a speedboat to Nyaung Oo Phee Island, one of the most beautiful and unexplored islands in the Mergui Archipelago, located in the Andaman Sea of Southern Myanmar.
Discover the island’s untouched beauty, featuring colorful coral reefs perfect for snorkeling, along with opportunities for kayaking, trekking, and diving.
Upon arrival at Nyaung Oo Phee Island, check in at the hotel and stroll along the beach or swim in the crystal-clear cyan blue sea. Adventure lovers can enjoy kayaking to the eastern part of the island to explore more of the turquoise waters and relax at the peaceful Madame Beach with your favorite drink.
Savor every bite of a fresh seafood BBQ dinner while admiring the golden sunset sky and relaxing with a cultural dance performance and fire show by the beach. Spend a soothing night on Nyaung Oo Phee Island, embracing the peaceful island atmosphere and enjoying the beautiful night scenery.
Day 5: Nyaung Oo Phee Island
Activities: Snorkeling, trekking and exploring Nyaung Oo Phee Island
Begin your day with breakfast by the sea, savoring the gentle beach breeze before setting off on a boat trip to nearby coral reefs to dive into the crystal-clear blue waters and snorkel among vibrant tropical fish, discovering a breathtaking underwater world unlike anything you’ve experienced before.
We will return to the island for a delightful lunch, then head up to a scenic viewpoint overlooking the magnificent Andaman Sea. From this picturesque and peaceful private island, take in one of the most beautiful panoramas in Myanmar that a moment you want to remember forever.
Spend the afternoon at your leisure: stroll along a short nature trail, soak up the sun on the beach, or simply relax in a hammock to the soothing sound of the waves. As evening falls, enjoy a delicious dinner followed by a captivating performance, perfectly concluding an adventurous and unforgettable day on Nyaung Oo Phee Island.
Day 6: Nyaung Oo Phee Island - Kawthaung
Activities: Leisure time on Nyaung Oo Phee Island, return to Kawthaung
Enjoy a peaceful early morning on Nyaung Oo Phee Island with a refreshing beach walk or a beautiful sunrise view before breakfast at the hotel. Embrace the calm of nature one last time as you take a final swim in the clear blue waters, go snorkeling among vibrant marine life, or simply relax in your room surrounded by the island’s lush tropical scenery.
After a delightful beachside lunch, transfer by speedboat to Kawthaung. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Spend the rest of the day exploring nearby attractions and the local market, where you can experience the authentic charm and daily life of the town. Conclude your day with a lovely dinner and enjoy a comfortable night in Kawthaung.
Day 7: Kawthaung – Yangon
Activities: Flight to Yangon, Yangon City sightseeing
After breakfast at the hotel, we will bid farewell to Nyaung Oo Phee Island and Kawthaung before flying back to Yangon. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel, freshen up, and enjoy some rest in the afternoon.
In the evening, we will visit Chauk Htet Kyi Pagoda, renowned for its massive reclining Buddha and its serene expression and intricate craftsmanship that leave visitors in awe. Next, explore the majestic Shwe Dagon Pagoda, Myanmar’s most sacred Buddhist site and a centerpiece of religious life, symbolizing faith, devotion, and history. Its towering golden stupa, over 2,500 years old and housing sacred hair relics of the Buddha, dominates Yangon’s skyline and glows spectacularly at sunset, creating a breathtaking nighttime panorama.
Conclude the day with an evening visit to Yangon’s Chinatown and 19th Street, the city’s most vibrant nightlife hub, where you can soak up the lively atmosphere, street food, and local culture.
Day 8: Departure
Activities: Leisure time in Yangon, depart
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and free time to relax or explore at your own pace until the time to transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
