Day 1: Mandalay – Pyin Oo Lwin

In the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel in Mandalay and drive approximately 1.5 hours to Dee Doke Waterfall, also known as the Blue Lagoon. This stunning multi-tiered waterfall is famous for its crystal-clear turquoise pools set amid dramatic limestone cliffs where you can enjoy light trekking along the forest trails to reach the upper pools, swim, relax, and take beautiful photos in a more serene and private natural setting.

Afterward, continue with a scenic drive to Pyin Oo Lwin, a charming former British hill station also known as “The City of Flowers” for its colorful blooms and diverse plant species. The town is renowned for its colonial-style houses with spacious compounds, pine-lined streets, traditional horse carriages, and its pleasantly cool climate year-round.

Begin your sightseeing with a visit to the National Kandawgyi Botanical Gardens, a 437-acre landscaped park showcasing vibrant flower displays, pine forests, and more than 580 species of local and foreign plants. It is the perfect place for leisurely strolls, photography, and enjoying the refreshing highland scenery.

Along the way, admire the town’s well-preserved colonial buildings before concluding your day in Pyin Oo Lwin, enjoying its tranquil atmosphere and pleasant weather.

Day 2: Pyin Oo Lwin - Mandalay

Activities: Drive back to Mandalay

Start your day with a visit to Pwe Kauk Waterfall, a picturesque natural retreat ideal for nature lovers and photography enthusiasts, where you can enjoy the cool highland air, tranquil surroundings, and the gentle cascade of water flowing over the rocky terraces.

Before driving back to Mandalay, we will visit the Chinese Vegetarian Temple, known for its ornate stucco dragons, rock gardens, and traditional Chinese architecture. This peaceful site beautifully blends spirituality and culture amid lush surroundings.

Afterwards, transfer back to Mandalay (approximately 1.5–2 hours’ drive) and drop off at your hotel, concluding your refreshing highland escape.
